First Midwife Appointment

I was nervous knowing the midwife was on her way to see me, "don't ask why I was nervous, considering I've been through it all before"!

I was nervous but at the same time I felt at ease because I was waiting for her in my house, there was no walking  up hill to the medical centre, which made a difference from my first pregnancy.

The midwife was lovely, and explained everything very clearly to me. I told her I was gutted to say the least about Sunderland Royal hospital not having a birthing pool, but she insisted I should use the large bath while I'm contracting (that's if nobody else is in it), so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

She took some bloods from me and checked my blood pressure which was very low, that explains some of my tiredness I guess.

Now I've just got to wait for an appointment in the post for my 12 weeks scan, very excited!

The morning sickness has sorted itself out into a routine, as soon as I wake in the morning it's a quick dash to the toilet, so thing's are looking good.
