Review: Organix Mighty Meal Range

I was contacted by the lovely Kate, she is a PR for Organix and contacted me to see if Alesha would like to review Organix's new 'Mighty Meal' range.
Alesha has received Organix products before and really enjoyed them, so I was looking forward to see how she would get on with Organix's new range!

The parcel arrived the day after I emailed Kate back, so was very quick delivery indeed!
Inside the parcel were 3 different 'Mighty Meals', Tomatoey Beef Bolognese, Hearty Lamb Hotpot and Spinach Falafels.

From just looking at the photo on the front of each one, they all looked delicious!

It didn't take Alesha long to put her taste buds to the taste, that afternoon she insisted on trying the Hearty Lamb Hotpot.
So I read the easy to follow instructions on the back on how to warm up the meal.
  • Remove tray from sleeve and place sealed tray in a pan of simmering water for 10 minutes. Do not oven bake.
  • If using the microwave, remove tray from sleeve and pierce film. Microwave on full power (850W) for 40 secs (time may vary according to power).
  • Remove ALL film. Stir well and always test the temperature before feeding to your toddler.
I decided to use the microwave because it was quicker and less hassle. I put it on for 40 seconds, which was just the perfect amount of time because the meal was warm and not too hot, so therefore Alesha could tuck in right away.

15minutes had passed and the end result was, Alesha had cleared her plate and she did so with the other 2 'Mighty Meals' she had.

I loved how these meals looked and smelt like home cooking!

The Mighty Meals range is developed for 1-3 year olds, designed to support the transition to solid food and encourage a life-long love of good food. Mighty Meals is real food with lots of texture that tastes and looks just as it should – with nothing artificial added and nothing taken away. They are made carefully to provide a tasty mealtime option, just like you would cook at home, but perhaps when you’re short of time, and contain no nasty surprises like added salt, preservatives or starches.

You have the choice from 8 'Mighty Meals' for your toddler,
  1. Herby Salmon and Potato Bites
  2. Vegetable and Chicken Korma
  3. Beef Stew and Dumplings
  4. Pork Meatballs
  5. Hearty Lamb Hotpot
  6. Creamy Chicken Pasta
  7. Tomatoey Beef Bolognese
  8. Spinach Falafels

Pregnancy: 23 Weeks - Sore Hips

I dreaded the day when that sharp aching pain would come back and attack my hips and thighs!

Well, I am currently 23weeks 2 days and today I have been in agony, to the point where it took me a few minutes to get up from the couch.
BUMP AT 20WEEKS
The pain was shooting down the right hand side hip and down into my thigh.
As soon as I stood up and put pressure on my leg I couldn't help but moan "OW OW OW"!

I suffered very bad with it when I was pregnant with Alesha, it got to the stage where Andy would find me in bed in tears, as I struggled to get on with my day to day routines.
I have started to ask Alesha to pick stuff  up from the floor, instead of me bending down.
Plus tonight I made her walk up the stairs to bed instead of me carrying her.
BUMP AT 20 WEEKS
The bath is calling me, so I think I will finish eating my sandwich and then go have a lovely soak in the bath (hopefully watch my belly move from the baby kicking).
Afterwards I may get Mr.B to massage oil or lotion onto my aching hips and thighs, but then again... the Champions League final is onto tonight!

I'm Back To Blogging

It's feel great to be back online and writing my blog. I shall look forward to my quiet evenings with my computer when Alesha's goes to bed!

My blog has been very quite the last few weeks because I was busy packing and getting everything sorted for the big move!
We are now happily settled into our lovely 3 bed house and all the unpacking is done and dusted so we can now look forward to our newest member of the family joining us in September.

I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and as you may know I am due baby number 2 on 13th September 2012, we decided to find out the sex of the baby............IT'S A GIRL!

With my hand on my heart, I honestly thought we was having a boy, I was in utter shock to say the least when the woman said, "your having another girl".
I did have a little cry when I got home, not because I didn't want a girl but because my heart was so set on having a boy, I thought I would be going shopping to buy pink stuff and not blue, I pictured seeing Mr.B and his son a few years down the line kicking a football about the back garden on a hot summer's day.

But saying all that I am now 'over the moon' that I am having another princess, so roll on September!

Alesha is very excited and has been saying, "my baby sister can play with my toys", so cute bless her.

Today I finally got round to ringing the midwife up in this area to register, so my first appointment is the 30th May, ekkkkk excited!

Anyways, I think it's time I made a sandwich for lunch and crack on with the housework, but I promise you all, "I shall be back"!
