Review: Fruit Bowl Snacks

Being a mother of 2 young girls and knowing how important it is for them to snack on healthy foods and finding the right sweet snacks for fussy children can be difficult!
I was looking forward to Alesha and Alana trying out these fruity snacks because I knew they would be getting good nutrients from them. We were sent some Yoghurt Fruit Flakes, School Bars and Fruit Flakes to try.

Alesha started off with the Yoghurt Fruit Flakes because in her eyes they looked like white chocolate balls. I therefore let her eat 3 of them before I informed her that infact she was eating fruit covered in a creamy yoghurt. Her reply then was "mmm these really are yummy mam thanks I like them". I sneaky took a packet of the Yoghurt Fruit Flakes when the children were in bed, 'naughty mummy'. I must say I really enjoyed them, they have the same sweet yummy taste just like white chocolate.
With Alana only being 8 months old I haven't gave her much sweet stuff nor crisps or chocolate, so I was abit vary with her trying a piece of the School Bar incase she couldn't chew it properly with only having 2 little teeth on the bottom. I unwrapped the bar and gave a piece of it to her and she quite happily sat in her highchair sucking and nibbling it with a big cheeky smile, needless to say she ate the majority of it.
Fruit Bowl School Bars are very handy for lunchboxes and an alternative snack to a chocolate bar. There with apple puree and concentrated strawberry, apple and pear juices. Each bar contains more than five times    its weight in fruit and counts towards one of your 5-a-day.

Every product is low in fat and provides you with a better alternative to other less healthy snacking options. Fruit Bowl snacks contain no added sugar, only that coming from the fruit. The also contain only natural colours and flavourings.

Fruit Bowl snacks are available in various supermarkets . For more information please check www.fruit-bowl.com

The products were provided free of charge for review purposes. However the opinions expressed in this review are honest and my own.
